It was used in group drive hunting of wild deer. A narrowing corridor of the fans, or poles with bird wings tied to them, was arranged, into which drive beaters on deer teams drove a herd of wild deer with the aid of dogs. The hunters laying in wait in the corridor’s narrow part shot at them. Abstract by I.A. Karapetova
