Made of bull horn. There is an indentation on the mouth edge, and a loop of narrow thin string is attached on the opposite side. The Chinese used such vessels when gathering raw opium: juice was collected from a cut poppy capsule with a finger, which was wiped on the indentation on the vessel’s edge.
