Annotation:

Made of long stiff black bristles fixed in a metal casing handle. According to the Chinese custom, it was prohibited to wear a moustache for men under 44, and to grow a beard, for men under 60. Besides, men traditionally shaved their forehead from early childhood. Therefore, each Chinese man had his own shaving set.
