A metal nose piece in the form of half-round plate with a sharp edge. The nose piece is inserted in the split of a short wooden handle and fixed with a narrow hide rope. It was used in skin processing, cleaning it free of hair. The Chinese adopted the scraper’s shape from local peoples.
