Kayak, a single-hatch boat, with a wooden frame of narrow and wide bent battens and a wooden ring, the hunter’s seat. On the outside, the frame was covered with a dressed bearded seal skin. A hunter going sea hunting sat, wearing a kamleika, sat in the kayak and tied the stretched skirting of the kamleika around the ring. This enable the sea hunter out at sea to continue hunting in bad weather. Abstract by V.V. Gorbacheva
