Machine-made head shawl of red cotton fabric, with a flower pattern. The Evenki began to wear such store-bought shawls under the influence of Russian culture. In summer, women tied them on the back of the head like a kerchief, and in winter, on the front or back of the neck, crossing them under the chin. The Evenki men also wore the shawls folding them into a strip and tying on the head bandana-style. Abstract by M.V. Fedorova
