Sewn from a wide deerskin suede strip with a hole left on top, and a long narrow strip behind, hanging down to the back; embroidered with solid rows of blue, black, and white beads.
It is a quite rare sample of the Evenki festive headgear. Routinely, men wore a headscarf tying it bandanna style, also leaving open the top of the head. It was believed that one can communicate with the Cosmos via the hole on the pate.
