Annotation:

Stone synagogues often had an attic, a tall wall above the main cornice of the building. The attic of the synagogue in Łowicz is decorated with small turrets typical for castle architecture.

בית כנסת מאבן. מחוז ורשה, עיר לוביץ'. יהודים אירופאים. צלם סרג'פוטובסקי א'.ק'. .צילום משלחתי. 1909 תמונה מודפסת. על בתי הכנסת מאבן ככלל היה אטיקוס - קיר גבוה שהוקם מעל כרכוב הראשי של המבנה. אטיקוס של בית הכנסת בלוביץ' מקושט בצריחים קטנים האופייניים לאדריכלות הארמונות.
